Starr & Bo [2003-2008]

[Bo offers baseball tickets to Starr and Matthew]
Bo: I don't want to see the third ticket go to waste, and who's going to man the fishing net? Starr, you --
Starr: I hate baseball.
Bo: Oh.

[Starr has been kidnapped in New York City]
Bo: (to John) I'm going to call the NYPD, see if it's the guy they think he is. But Starr did seem ok, you know? That little girl knows how to put up a fight.

[Bo has just finished questioning Starr about Margaret Cochran's death]
Bo: Do you think the ability to lie is genetic?
John: You called me down here to talk about theoreticals?
Bo: Todd Manning's a world-class liar, and his daughter is, too.
John: Don't tell me you couldn't crack a kid.
Bo: She's Manning's daughter, but she was lying just like her father.
John: Yeah?
Bo: Yeah. And there's something to that. I could tell she was lying, but it was just exactly like Todd lies.

[Bo finds Starr in his office at the police station]
Starr: Hi.
Bo: Hi, Starr. How did you get in here?
Starr: The back way. Nobody noticed.

Bo: If your father tries to contact you, I want you to let me know, right away.
Starr: You're asking me to rat out my own father?
Bo: No. I'm asking you to help me save his life.

Bo: Come on, I'll drive you home.
Starr: No, I can take myself home. It's ok.
Bo: Yeah, I know that. But I promised your dad that I'd keep an eye on you. You know the last thing he said to me when they took him away? He told me just how much that he loves you. Come on. Come on, all right? We'll go out the -- the back way.

Starr: (about Todd) Just let me stay with him, ok? I'll take care of him.
Bo: All right, Starr. But, look, it's not your job to take care of anyone besides yourself.
Starr: That's not the way it works in my family.
